Overview

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for all stages of contract lifecycle including risk management analysis, due diligence, requirements gathering, RFP preparations, selection, negotiation, and termination;
  • Develop and implement cross-functional process improvement strategies to advance vendor data, infrastructure, and analytics across GRC (governance, risk and compliance) and enterprise systems;
  • Assess vendor risk in accordance with established policies and regulations, including establishment of risk assessment guidelines for evolving and expanding services;
  • Provide strategic oversight and escalation in managing vendor performance to ensure financial and operational objectives;
  • Lead and manage the development of standards for vendor engagements and processes;
  • Evolve and expand Medpace’s preferred vendor relationships, enabling streamlined selection and strategic pricing negotiations with vendors;
  • Lead and execute vendor selection and evaluation, pricing and contract negotiations, and vendor contract compliance for key services;
  • Apply understanding of policies and procedures associated with purchase contracts such as indemnification and amendments;
  • Liaise cross-functionally to troubleshoot and provide resolution to vendor service and process issues;
  • Liaise with management and internal stakeholders on key projects; and
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
  • 7+ years of relevant service;
  • Ability to lead a team;
  • Experiencing building relationships and negotiating with vendors.
